| Fountain-like, deciduous shrub with fragrant, white, late spring or early summer flowers. An old fashioned favorite, at home in the shrub border. Allow ample room for arching branches. Remove oldest branches (back to ground) right after plant has finished flowering.
Philadelphus lewisii has racemes of 5 to 11 unscented or lightly fragrant, single, cup-shaped, white flowers, profusely borne in early or midsummer. 10 feet tall and wide. |
