Tricyrtis
( Toad Lilly )
| Tricyrtis is a woodland perennial resembling false Solomon's Seal in foliage. Flowers are somewhat orchid-like, spotted, 1 inch wide, blooming in late summer or early fall. Flowers bloom at leaf bases and in terminal clusters. They need rich organic soil, and a moist woodland environment.
T. 'Kohaku' bears white flowers with heavy dark purple spots or blotches and yellow throats. |
